If requested we guarantee constant reportage via phone or in writing regarding your personal influence on the costs.

If required it is possible to bill through our own advertising agency to guarantee complete discretion of your account.

Detective work is a personnel service paid according to the hours of service rendered.

Possible additional charges may occur for night-work, Sundays and holidays should this be necessary.
Also extra charges for the provision of vehicles, milage, telephone calls or expenses made relating to this case.
If special techniques or vehicles were required, they will be charged separately.

Reimbursement of detective costs

Detective costs prior to any legal proceeding are recoverable, if engaging a detective is immediately connected to a specific litigation and if engaging a detective was necessary in the objective view of the party to aim for litigation – with regard to an appropriate court prosecution or court defence – necessary in the sense of § 91, 1 ZPO (OLG Koblenz, 24th October 1990, 14 NW 671/90.

The appellate court division of the Higher Regional Court at Zweibrücken (1 W 13/78) and the Higher Regional Courts at Hamm (15 W 405/08), Braunschweig (3 W 10/74) and Munich (W 1234/76) considered detective costs as recoverable costs in addition to court costs if they were necessary with regard to an appropriate court prosecution or court defence (§ 91, section 1, phrase 1 ZPO).
