Imprisonment
An imprisonment regulation is the last mean to enforce an affirmation in lieu of an oath. The creditor can engage the bailiff to arrest the debtor in order to enforce the delivery of an affirmation in lieu of oath. If the debtor still refuses, he may be imprisoned up to six months.
